Good samaritans came to his rescue
Thursday, January 28, 2010
To the Editor:
I would like to thank the two “good samaritans” (one with a strong strap and another with plywood and a pick-up truck) who pulled me out of a large snow bank on North Amherst Road on Jan. 19.
Thanks to those two guys, I got to my business meeting on time.
Didn’t get their names, but it’s nice to know that people are still very interested in doing random acts of kindness.
Also wanted to thank my wife, Jennifer, for coming to my rescue as well – with boots, shovel and wood planks, which I plan to keep in my car now.
