BEDFORD – In two weeks, people interested in exploring a “haunted” Bedford building will have the chance to do so. Along with learning how to hunt ghosts, attendees will watch footage of the man whose exorcism led to the book “The Exorcist.” The cost is $25.

On Thursday, March 18, from 6:30-9:30 p.m., participants can join CC Carole, a professional ghost hunter in New Hampshire and author of “Ghosts and Legends of the Merrimack Valley”, at the Weathervane in Bedford for a charity ghost hunting video presentation event.

The first part of the event will consist of watching footage from the original interview with Father Gallagher by radio and TV host Mike Siegal and Bob Boyd. Father Gallagher preformed one of the exorcisms that led to the book “The Exorcist.” There will be a representative from the local clergy to spell out what an exorcist really is.

During the second part of the event, Carole will demonstrate ghost hunting. Attendees will participate in a ghost hunt of the building that houses the Weathervane in Bedford. The 101-year-old building is rich in its own history.
