Craftworkers Guild plans Harvest Craft Shop
Friday, September 14, 2012
The Craftworkers’ Guild will hold a Harvest Craft Shop from Thursday, Sept. 27, through Monday, Oct. 8, at the historic Kendall House, 5 Meetinghouse Road, Bedford. The seasonal shop will be open 10 a.m.-4 p.m. daily.
More than 60 artisans and craftspeople will participate, and all of the arts and crafts will be juried by the guild. Handcrafted work includes fiber and fabric arts, glass, silver, gold and mixed-media jewelry, gourmet foods, paintings and photography, paper arts, pottery, Shaker boxes, fall-themed accessories and decor, wood crafts, and more.
“Our Harvest Craft Shop offers something for every taste, from traditional New England crafts to very contemporary pieces, something we know our customers enjoy,” said Carol Davis, president of the Craftworkers’ Guild. “They often comment on the originality and quality of our products.”
The guild will host an Autumn Fest Night from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, with special offerings and treats available on that night only. The guild will hold gourmet and goodie weekends with homemade items for sale in the Harvest Shop on Sept. 29-30 and Oct. 6-7.
