Caregivers host mini-golf tournament

The CareGivers Inc. of Bedford, has partnered with Funway Park in Litchfield to create a fundraising event. What a better way to show your support than getting outside on a crisp fall evening with your friends and family for a fun round of mini-golf? The event will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, and Wednesday, Oct. 17. Pizza and refreshments will be supplied to all participants, along with a T-shirt and gift bag. In addition, prizes will be awarded and there will be many raffle items to win.

Proceeds will help support the programs and services The CareGivers provides, free of charge to their clients. The CareGivers help the frail, elderly and disabled to maintain their independence and dignity through volunteerism. Volunteers provide a variety of services, from transportation to medical appointments and the grocery store to companionship to many who are often alone and monthly food packages to struggling seniors.
