Manchester Habitat for Humanity receives 2012 housing grant

Greater Manchester Habitat for Humanity was a recent grantee of the 2012 Housing Grant program from Bank of America.

The grant is part of a $22 million investment by Bank of America to build and rehabilitate affordable housing, offer foreclosure prevention services and homeowner counseling, and provide other services intended to invigorate and rejuvenate neighborhoods.

Nationally, the grants support more than 650 nonprofits in 34 states. Manchester Habitat for Humanity funding will be used to complete its current project at 50 Hosley St. in Manchester. Once completed, three families in need will have access to affordable housing.
