Friday, October 26, 2012
The staff and students of Riddle Brook School are planning a food drive to benefit the New Horizons Food Pantry in Manchester. Donations can be sent to school with students beginning Thursday, Nov. 1, and placed in the appropriate boxes in the front hall.
In addition to canned goods, the following items are also suggested: bars of soap, toothpaste, combs, powdered milk, macaroni and cheese, pasta, coffee, instant potatoes, stuffing, cereal and canned juices, as well as dessert items such as cookies, cake, brownie mixes, pudding, Jell-O and frosting.
The boxes will be donated as a contribution from the Riddle Brook School community Tuesday, Nov. 20, with the Principal’s Advisory Group organizing and packing the donations Monday, Nov. 19. All donations will therefore be needed by Friday, Nov. 16.
