BEDFORD – Lisa Jo Moher, 50, died suddenly on Monday, Aug. 24, 2009 at Elliot Hospital in Manchester surrounded by her family and friends.

Lisa Jo was born May 13, 1959, in Ft. Bragg, N.C., the daughter of William and Elizabeth Trueheart of Bedford. She graduated high school from Tehran American School in Tehran, Iran. She received her Bachelor's of Music from the University of Kansas in 1982 and her MBA from Southern New Hampshire University in 2008.

She was the Director of Financial Aid at Granite State College in Concord.

She married Kevin Moher in February 1989. They resided in Bedford with their two sons, William Moher and Matthew Moher.

Lisa Jo played the clarinet and loved music her whole life. She was the Team Mom for the West High football team and active with the West High School Booster Club in support of her two beloved sons. She was also a member of Bethany Covenant Church in Bedford.

She is survived by her husband, Kevin Moher, and two sons, William Moher and Matthew Moher, all of Bedford; her parents, William and Elizabeth Trueheart, of Bedford; and four sisters, Karen Archer, of Derry, Stacie Lee Trueheart, of Lorton, Va., Gretchen Whiting, of Hudson, and Ginger Defino of Haverhill, Mass.

She was an aunt to four nieces and two nephews; Terrianne Archer, Stephen Archer, Jake Whiting, Brittney Whiting, Samantha Whiting and Madison Defino.

Funeral services will be at Bethany Covenant Church in Bedford at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 28. Interment will follow at Bedford Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Manchester West High Booster Club or a charity of your choice.
