Sylvia J. Remick, 66, of Bedford, died Sunday, Nov. 15, at the Merrimack Community Hospice House with her family by her side.

Mrs. Remick was born on Nov. 26, 1942 in Quincy, Mass., the daughter of the late Phillip and Lillian (King) Scibilio. She was raised and educated in Quincy and following school she moved to Norfolk, Va., where she lived for five years until moving to Manchester. Mrs. Remick went back to school at New Hampshire Vocational College to receive her certification as a dental technician. After her schooling she started her career at H&O Dental Lab, where she worked for over 33 years.

Mrs. Remick was an extremely giving and kind person. She had a great love of lighthouses and the ocean, enjoyed shopping and giving to her loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Her family includes two children, Samantha Remick, of Bedford, and Tracy Charest and her husband, James, of Manchester; three grandchildren, Melissa, Dylan and Ariel; and a sister, Edith Shanks, of Hanover, Mass.

Calling hours will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 20, at the Goodwin Funeral Home, 607 Chestnut St., Manchester. There will be a time of sharing memories at 6:00 p.m.
