2014 Family Snowman Building Challenge

The Bedford Parks and Recreation Department wants you to get outside and build. Ring in the New Year and during the month of January spend time with your family building a snowman in your own yard. Once it is built, take a picture of your creation and email the picture to our office. There will be a prize awarded to the winning snowman. This Family Snowman Challenge is open to all Bedford families.

Valentines’ Day Card Contest: Design your best Be My Valentine card

The Bedford Parks and Recreation Department is offering a February contest to children in grades K-5. Deadline for entries is 4 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 7. Mail or drop off your Be My Valentine card entry to the Parks and Recreation Department, Town Offices, 24 N. Amherst Road, Bedford.

The winner will receive a prize and for that special sweetheart a Valentine’s gift, along with the original handmade card. Make sure you include your name, age and email address on the official entry form and clip it to your card. The winner will be announced on Monday, Feb. 10, on our websites and BCTV. Judges’ decisions are final.
