Bedford’s Centrix Bank sets pace by raising more than $80,000 for Granite United Way

Friday, January 24, 2014

Centrix Bank President and CEO Joseph B. Reilly announced the bank raised more than $80,000 for its Pacesetter Campaign for Granite United Way, representing an 11 percent increase over its 2012 campaign.

“Each year, we continue to surpass our goal for Granite United Way as a pacesetter organization and I could not be more proud of this accomplishment,” Reilly said.

“We are proud of the role we play in creating opportunities and inspiring hope for a better tomorrow for so many in our communities who benefit from the services provided by United Ways throughout New Hampshire.”

Centrix has been a Pacesetter organization since 2003, which means its annual campaign is conducted prior to the official launch of GUW’s Annual Campaign.

The bank also participated in GUW’s Annual Day of Caring by sending a group of volunteers to lend their talents to a project. A group of 13 employees spent the day at the YWCA in Manchester where they painted the lobby, playroom and director’s office.
