Bedford’s SolAmor Hospice, a leading provider of hospice care, is seeking volunteers in Greater Manchester and Nashua.
Some ways that hospice volunteers can serve are by providing one-on-one companionship, reading to patients, letter writing or veteran-to-veteran support. Other ways are by providing spiritual care, bereavement support, office support, joining a vigil team, Reiki, pet and music therapy and more.
No prior volunteer experience or medical background is needed.
Volunteer training is free, but space is limited.
For more information regarding training dates in your area, call Rita Stanton, hospice volunteer coordinator at 606-7974, ext. 6603.
