Looking for Girl Scouts and leaders in Bedford

Friday, March 28, 2014

Calling all girls in grades K-12. It’s time to discover, connect and take action: It’s time to sign up for Girl Scouts. Through Girl Scouting, girls discover themselves and their values, connect with others and take action to make the world a better place. They have a blast, make friends and enjoy new and exciting experiences in the preeminent leadership development program for girls in the U.S. Registration is $30 a year.

Adults are needed, too. Volunteers receive training and learn marketable skills, make new friends and make a difference in girls’ lives. See www.girlscoutsgwm.org and click on “adults” to see opportunities available and apply.

Contact Emily Poirier at epoirier@girlscoutsgwm.org or 627-4158, ext. 165.

Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains serves 12,300 girls in New Hampshire and Vermont, thanks to 5,000 trained and dedicated volunteers. GSGWM is celebrating more than a century of building girls of courage, confidence and characterw.
