Friday, April 18, 2014

The Arbors of Bedford, southern New Hampshire’s only assisted living community specializing in all phases of memory care, welcomed Amherst resident Lori Dodge as its new executive director, effective March 17.

Dodge has experience working with seniors suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and other memory issues, along with helping their families to cope with and manage their loved ones’ care.

Dodge spent the past eight years at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, where she was the director of senior dervices, while overseeing the Senior Adult Mental Health Department.

Her career has spanned the gamut of senior health and well-being, while leading St. Joseph to become the first New Hampshire hospital given the prestigious NICHE designation, as an institution committed to delivering patient-centered care for older adult patients.

She is also an accomplished administrator who has led her organizations with sound business acumen and success.

Dodge’s work is also well-known among the Greater Manchester Alzheimer’s Association, the New England Society for Healthcare Strategy, Senior and Family Enterprises and the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce.

The Arbors of Bedford specializes in caring for those suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, dementia and other memory care issues, and is the only assisted living community dedicated to that mission in southern New Hampshire.
