Bedford resident earns promotion at Northeast Utilities

MANCHESTER – Northeast Utilities, the parent corporation of Public Service of New Hampshire, recently announced the promotion of attorney Robert Bersak to a new leadership position.

The promotion reflects NU’s mission to structure its operations in a way that will best serve its approximately 3.6 million customers across New England.

Bersak, based at PSNH headquarters in Manchester, has been promoted to NU chief regulatory counsel. He will continue to serve at PSNH in the positions of assistant secretary for PSNH and Northeast Utilities Service Company.

A resident of Bedford, Bersak is a member of the bar in New Hampshire, Connecticut, New Jersey and Ohio.

In addition to his work at NU, Bersak served in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a colonel after 33 years.

He earned his juris doctor degree from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor of Science in engineering from the University of Colorado.
