Camp Kettleford Open House on Saturday, May 17 in Bedford

Discover how much fun Girl Scout day camp can be. Meet the camp director and ask questions from 3-5 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at Camp Kettleford on Camp Allen Road in Bedford.

All girls entering kindergarten through eighth grade are invited.

Camp Kettleford offers seven weeks of day camp, in one- and two-week programs of fun, friendship and adventure. Camp fun starts June 23 and runs through Aug. 8. Before and after care is available. Girls can choose from programs like geocaching, cooking, archery, being a detective, painting, swimming, wildlife and jewelry making. New this year at Camp Kettleford is a horse program.

Campers will also enjoy swimming, games, arts and crafts, and other camp activities. Fees start at $130. Girls who are not currently Girl Scouts pay a $30 registration fee. Financial aid is available for those who qualify, but register and apply soon.

Depending on the session, buses are available from Amherst, Auburn, Brookline, Candia, Concord, Deerfield, Derry, Goffstown, Hudson, Litchfield, Londonderry, Manchester, Merrimack, Milford, Nashua, Pelham, Pembroke, Raymond, Weare and Windham. There is no extra charge to ride the bus.
