Daffodil Days needs volunteers March 17
Friday, March 15, 2013
BOW – The American Cancer Society Daffodil Days needs volunteers to help prepare bouquets for delivery around the state. If you would like to help, volunteers will be working at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, March 17, at Amoskeag Beverage, 510 Hall St., Bow.
You will be working in a warehouse with a concrete floor so it will be chilly. Comfortable shoes and jackets are recommended.
No volunteers younger than 14 are allowed as there will be a forklift in operation where volunteers will be working.
Refreshments will be available for everyone.
The daffodil is the first flower of spring, and the Society’s flower of hope.
Funds from Daffodil Days will help cancer patients and their loved ones stay well, get well, find cures and fight back against cancer.
To help, send your name and email address via email to NHDaffodilDays@cancer.org, or call Kelly Heinze at 471-4106 or Jessica Blais at 471.4104.
