Jaguars will offer adaptive cheerleading program
The Bedford Jaguars cheer program will be offering an adaptive cheer program for girls ages 6-18 who have physical or intellectual and developmental disabilities. The season will begin the end of August and finish in October. There will be one week night practice, opportunities to cheer at home games, and the girls will exhibit a routine at the Season Premiere Competition in October.
Each cheerleader will have a buddy assigned to assist on the field and mat. The buddy will provide encouragement, support and physical assistance, as needed. Adaptive cheer will emphasize skill development, team work, friendship and lots of fun. For details on this program, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
