BEDFORD JR. BULLDOGS
Tiny Mite Silver
The Bedford Tiny Mite Silver football team had a strong showing against Youngsville. Eric Morgan had two long touchdown runs and was in on several tackles defensively. The Bulldogs also got touchdowns from Spencer Henrichon, Ryan Rankins, and Nathan Pratte. On defense, Bulldogs Torrie Zamor, Cooper Cassidy and Tyler Doldo were in on key stops.
Tiny Mite Red
The Tiny Mite Red Jr Bulldogs opened the season with a solid game at home against Amherst. Aidan O’Connel had three touchdowns behind the fine blocking of Jack and Kevin Mastrodicasa, Gabe Tomkinson, Austin Bouch and John Kramer.
Defense was awesome with big tackles by Evan Cibotti, Cole Wolfinger, Ethan Chmielecki, Joel Poltronieri, Kieran Rice, Ethan Christerson, Brendan Thornton and Gavin LaValle. Seven different Jr. Bulldogs ran the ball on the day. Tiny Mite Red gets back at it against the Southern NH Steelers in two weeks.
Mitey Mite Silver
The Mitey Mite Silver team opened the season with a loss to Youngsville. Presley Trento, Ryan Allard and Ryan Cote made nice plays on defense. Willie Kramer and TJ O’ Connell had long runs off of nice blocks by Ben Stuart and Zach Dion.
Mitey Mite Red
The Mitey Mite Red team faced off against Amherst and played some fierce football. Josh Tobin scored on a well-executed reverse and Parker Henrichon bulled into the end zone for the extra point. Tough Bulldog defense kept the game close with great play by Andrew McGee, Matt Peicker and Wyatt Thompson.
Jr. Pee Wee Silver
The Silver team benefited from two straight kick off fumble recoveries by Ethan Van Heerdan and Jordan Dyer in their 32-6 victory over the Youngsville Hawks. Great running by Conor O’Connel and tough blocking by Drake Tomkinson, Zack Barnard, Jack Grogan, CJ Polishan, and Nate Frederickson led to the first score. Liam O’Connel punched in the extra point, made a long touchdown run later in the game.
First time running back Caleb Dudas ran tough in the second half, Conor Mullen and Allen Gawlowicz added tough running. Joey Lupo found the endzone for a long run to open the second half. Evan Dunn, Jonathan Rowen, Hunter Dusharme and Matthew Schwartz did an excellent job in their first ever football games.
Jr. Pee Wee Red
The Bedford Bulldogs Jr. Pee Wee Red lost to a tough Amherst Patriots. The Bulldog offensive line lead by Scot Landies, Thomas Baldwin, Sam Lacombe, Jared Neikam and Trey Ravenelle kept the Patriots off quarterbacks Jason Boucher and Thomas Morgan all game. Caleb Baston and Ricky Bobby Rasp had touchdown saving tackles. AJ Pagliarulo and Parker Joyce had hard runs up the middle.
The Bedford Pee Wee team got a win 15-6 over Amherst. Bedford came back from being down 6-0 early against the defending Pee Wee champion.
Bedford scored on a long run by Zac Tucci right before the end of the first half behind great blocking from Aiden Livingston, SteveChartier, Mason
Albert, Colton Krasinski, Ryan Fox, John Twite and Mike Mullen. The two-point conversion was kicked in by Patrick Harrington.
The next score game from Harry LeGoullon in a powerful run followed by an extra point run in by Kyle Fink.
The defense held strong not allowing any points in the second half. The defense was led by Lucien Mumpini, Noah LaValle, Ryan Toscano and Max Chartier. Other key plays were made from Brandon Trento, Tyler Barnard, Mason Adams, and Truman Larson.
