Ron Paul is electable

To the Editor:

Have you heard the media dictating who is ‘electable’ in the GOP race for president? I have, and I don’t believe them!

The media has a long history of slanting the news. They set the political debate for their establishment bosses while ignoring issues important to our well being.

With help from their media “friends,” the Republican establishment has embarked on a mission to destroy one particular candidate – renowned for his trustworthiness and integrity. They’ve raised issues about everything from his sanity to his patriotism. They have been pounding a drumbeat about his lack of “electability” – one that has in recent days reached fever pitch.

Why are they attempting to destroy this good American? Because, Ron Paul wants to change our failed/costly foreign policy and stop wars promoted in the name of national defense, which, in reality, are only conducted for profit and globalism. He’s tired of special interests bankrupting America and destroying our liberties, freedoms and our children’s future. He’s running for president because he wants to change government from economic and social slave-master back to the noble purpose for which it was created.

I’ve been following the candidates, and, from what I’ve seen, only one has been consistent with the truth – Ron Paul. The political “establishment” calls Ron Paul “unelectable” because they know he will change how things are done and their reign will end.

Ron Paul’s positions – practical and constitutional – are what America needs to restore its greatness. On Jan. 10, you decide who is electable; don’t let an “establishment” do it. Vote for a great American – one who can defeat Obama. Cast your vote for liberty and Ron Paul for president.
