Bedford where writer had happiest times

Tuesday, November 8, 2011

To the Editor:

In December 2005, I and my family embarked on a trip back to England. I was 10 at the time, and the excitement of a new home excited me. We had only been in Bedford for five years and now we were moving back to the United Kingdom. I have met so many people in my life, but probably, the most important people came from Bedford. I loved playing football (soccer) under coach Jim Cole, and playing along side the younger Jim Cole. I remember one of my best friends was George Mokas. He was the first person I met when I arrived, and from then on, we became like brothers. I would always hang out with Myles and Mitch Marchand as their farther also coached me in my soccer career. Of course, there are many others who I won’t mention, as they were all so special to me. I am now beginning some of the most important years of my life, but still, as I look around me, I see Bedford. It’s my inspiration for my performances and scripts, and it’s the place where I tell people I’m from. Unfortunately, I can never have the friendships I had with all these people ever again because English and American culture is so different, but if I had one wish before I die, it’s to visit my old friends just one more time.

No matter where I go in life, no matter how far I reach Bedford, New Hampshire, will be the place where I spent my happiest time. I would like to say, “Hi,” to all the people who knew me and to say, “I miss you all and I will never forget you.”

Thank you.
