There are lots of questions that Gingrich needs to answer
Thursday, December 1, 2011
To the Editor:
Do you know what short memories are: a weakness that political candidates exploit? I’ve just received an e-mail telling folks how to answer the Newt accusers. Here in this letter below, I offer an analogy of the billion dollar two-year presidential charade with a link below with a whole lot of questions Mr. Gingrich needs to answer.
Remember your high school days and all the hoopla that went on during the week-long race for the President of the Student Council. Candidate number one gets up and speaks before the assembly: “What we need is change, and if I get elected, there will be no more homework,” drawing great applause. His opponent follows in his speech, also with an appeal for change: “If I get elected, we will have two hours for lunch breaks every day.” And again, a thunderous ovation of approval follows.
But; the candidates and the student body know this is not what is going to happen. They know who the real boss is. This popularity contest has great appeal, the president gets to date pretty girls, and it’s good on one’s record when applying for college, but they know the principal is the boss who will determine school policy. (Allegory from memory authored by the late great Gary Allen, writer for American Opinion magazine.)
Now let us apply this Student Council presidential race to the charade we have been living through for six months now, with another year to go. Look at the “track records” of candidates: compare their words with their deeds. Unfortunately, gaining approval of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) is necessary if one wants to be president. This is why Ron Paul continues to be ignored by the media. These candidates know just like the high school candidates, that presidents become public relations agents for the real power and authority behind the scenes, like David Rockefeller, George Soros and many more power elite from the CFR who are not unlike the school principals, because they hold the real power. Only in this race for “President,” too many of our citizens have not caught on to this multibillion dollar charade of deception.
