Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation & Ceci’s Journey
Friday, September 16, 2011
Christine Jelley
A group of kids pulled together a fundraiser to sell homemade soap and lemonade. The soaps were made by Libby Jelley (age 9) and Gracy Jelley (age 7) and were sold for $3 a bar.
All proceeds are going to benefit the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) and our team, Ceci’s Journey. Ceci Riccio (age 9) was diagnosed with diabetes a little more than a year ago.
If you would like to donate to the JDRF or our team, Ceci’s Journey, you can log on to www.walk.jdrf.org, type in Ceci’s Journey and state of New Hampshire.
We will be having another sale of our homemade soaps, lemonade and fresh cookies from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, at 19 Federation Road, Bedford. Thank you for your support.
