Moose Plate Grant awarded to Stevens-Buswell Community Center
Thursday, January 5, 2012
Bedford Historical Society member Susan Tufts-Moore and co-President Joan Shaw Reeves take delight in displaying the plaque announcing the society’s receipt of a New Hampshire Conservation License Plate Grant (Moose Plate Grant Program) from the New Hampshire Division of Historical Resources. In order to remove all the mold in the former Stevens-Buswell School, many of the walls had to be taken down. The $9,800 grant from the state is making possible the framing of new partitions in Bedford’s future Stevens-Buswell Community Center.
