Zeltner fifth at MOCs

Hannah Zeltner of Bedford High School finished fifth in the girls race at the cross country Meet of Champions Saturday at Nashua High School South.

Zeltner was one of seven Bulldogs to run in the race, as Bedford finished second as a team. Coe-Brown was first while Bishop Guertin came in third with Manchester Central fourth and Hanover fifth.

Milford’s Courtney Hawkins won the girls race, finishing in 18:34.1, while Zeltner was four spots back, coming in with a time of 18:46.4.

Bedford’s Gwenyth Winship placed 11th, finishing in 19:05, and Morghan Linehan was 31st in 19:37.3. Kris Larosa (19:45.8) finished 36th and Caroline Conard (19:53.8) came in 41st.

Taylor Watts (20:57.7) placed 82nd and teammate Miranda Adams (21:41.9) was 108th.

Sam Daly led the Bedford boys, coming in 40th in a time of 16:37.6, while the Bulldogs placed 10th as a team.

Michael Dee (16:40.9) finished 45th and Tristam Winship (16:53.3) placed 60th. Taylor Summerville (17:09.3) and Jared Hornsby (17:10.3) came in 81st and 82nd, respectively, while Scott Johnson (17:26) was 104th and Scott Daly (17:34.9) was 112th.
