WRESTLING

Dec. 21: Bedford 43, Hollis Brookline 28

Bedford improved 4-0 in dual meets on the season with a win over the Cavaliers. Ben Dow (106-pounds), Robert Bernard (170) and Robert Lamy (285) each record pins while Dave Watts won 10-1 at 132 and Mike Galinat won 10-7 at 182. Collin Perras (113), Eric Cooper (145) and Erik Flakengren (195) also got wins for the Bulldogs. Ben Gilman (126), Chris Conery (138) and Matt Houston (220) also wrestled well.

Dec. 27: Bulldogs take fifth

Bedford finished with 119 points to come in fifth at the Hollis Nor’Easter Invitational.

HB and Nashua North tied for first with 182 points, while Bishop Guertin (149) was third and Alvirne (139) took fourth.

Eric Cooper won the 145-point weight class, beating Campbell’s Connor Douglas in the final.

Colin Perras (113) and Erik Falkengren (195) took second in their weight classes while Robert Bernard (160) finished third.

Ben Dow (106) and Josh Belz (120) both came in fourth.
