Works of Heart moving business quarters
Thursday, November 24, 2011
WILTON – Michelle Levesque and Julie Davidson-Kinnunen have moved their flower business, Works of Heart, from the Yellow Building at the end of Main Street to much larger quarters on Main Street, next to Putnam’s Clothing.
The building owner, MaryLyn Yonika, has moved her business, Stoneware Candle Houses, to the lower level of the store.
“We have lots more space,” Levesque said recently. They were at the previous location for about six months. That space is now occupied by Big Game Taxidermy.
Levesque, who lives in Temple, started the business in 2006 and was later joined by Davidson-Kinnunen. Their shop was in Milford for four years.
Levesque said she has “been in the business for eight years,” and started at Daffodil’s in Jaffrey, “where I learned the trade.” While she said she had no particular specialty, “I just love weddings.”
Business hours are Monday-Wednesday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m..; Thursday and Friday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.; and Saturday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. by appointment.
