Walt Murray for Water and Wastewater board Commission Incumbent
Wednesday, March 3, 2010
To the Editor:
For the benefit of the Milford population who do not know Walter Murray, I would like to cite his qualifications for reelection on March 9 as a water-wastewater commissioner for a three-year term. He served Milford since 2006 as one of the three original commissioners elected to oversee the operations and personnel of the water and wastewater departments, and is currently the Board’s chairman. He served on the Milford Planning Board from 1994–2007 with the exception of one year, 2004 – 2005. In this capacity he worked with many facility and budget committee members, volunteers, town department heads and selectmen on a variety of issues of great importance to residents. The town reports since 2006 itemize great accomplishments of goals set forth by the cohesive Board of Water and Wastewater Commissioners, and the financial statistics contained therein reflect the serious attention paid to bottom-line budgets.
Please vote for Walt Murray on March 9.
