Wilton theater helps Open Cupboard Pantry
Thursday, January 10, 2013
To the Editor:
One the 23rd of December, Donna Reed, Jimmy Stewart, and Dennis Markaverich did it again.
Such an overwhelming crowd of enthusiastic people appeared that Dennis showed “It’s a Wonderful Life” simultaneously, in both the large and small theaters, in order to accommodate everyone. The Billings Savings and Loan was saved, good transformed evil, and the Wilton Town Hall theatre lobby was filled with food for the Open Cupboard Pantry – the only admission fee.
Thank you, Dennis, for giving so generously of time and spirit. Most of us left that evening feeling as though we had Clarence’s wings on our backs.
