Langell will continue service, commitment to Milford as town clerk
Friday, March 8, 2013
To the Editor:
Dear fellow residents and neighbors,
I have had the distinct good fortune to have served you – and our community – for the past 21 years in a variety of public service roles here in Milford. For the past 15 years, I have carried out the day-to-day business of the town, serving as your Town Clerk. My five terms in this role have provided me the experience and aptitude necessary to be effective – and efficient during my tenure.
The position of Town Clerk requires a flexible, passionate, customer-facing individual who can meet the immediate needs of the town; anticipate the future requirements of a growing community – and can adapt seamlessly to change, complexity and additional responsibilities. Dear neighbors, I am that person.
With tasks ranging from Motor Vehicle administration to coordination of elections, from Vital Records to Registrations – all of which underline the importance of experience and continuity when it comes to service to the town.
With your support, the tradition of convenience, service and experience you have come to expect from me and my office, will continue unencumbered.
As a resident and neighbor since 1971, my affection for Milford is equaled only by my commitment to service for our beloved town.
I thank you for allowing me the privilege of working for you, and on March 12, I respectfully request your vote so I can continue to serve you as your Town Clerk.
With the utmost gratitude,
PEGGY LANGELL
Milford
