MILFORD – A Milford woman is being held on $50,000 cash bail after police say a search of her vehicle turned up 17 individually wrapped baggies of heroin, as well as other controlled drugs.

Courtney E. Santerre, 22, of 16 Billings St., is charged with one count of possession with intent to distribute (heroin), one count of possession (Buprenorphine), one count of possession (Alprazolam) and one count of possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle.

All charges except the last one are Class A felonies. Possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle is a Class A misdemeanor.

Santerre is scheduled for a probable cause hearing on Monday, Dec. 9, in Milford district court.

Police say they found marijuana in her car on Nov. 11 after she drove to the Snack Corner, and after they obtained a search warrant, they said they found the other drugs along with $1,188 in cash.
