MILFORD – After seven years on Elm Street, the Milford Fish Market may have shut its doors for good.

The restaurant and retailer of fish and seafood has been closed for several weeks and while it appears unchanged inside – the big mannequin in a chef’s hat still stands in the lobby – neighbors and town businesspeople say that it will stay closed.

Repeated attempts to reach the owners of the business were unsuccessful.

The market operated on Nashua Street for several years before moving to 251 Elm St. in 2007. It changed owners in 2011.
