Find something yummy at Taste of Milford on Friday

MILFORD – Marinated steak tips, chicken quesadillas, specialty pizza, homemade ice cream – those are a few of the savory and sweet foods that will be served during the Taste of Milford this Friday from 6-8:30 p.m.

The annual event on the Milford Oval has sold out all four years of its existence and features samples from 25 restaurants and retail food shops from all over town.

This year ticket holders can sample specialties while browsing downtown shops. Some home businesses, like Carole’s Cake Creations, will be in Town Hall or partnering with Oval shops.

Tickets are $25 per person purchased by today, Thursday, May 29, and $30 day of the event and they can be bought online or by calling 249-0676. Proceeds benefit the Milford Improvement Team.

Participating restaurants and businesses include:

Amigos, Café on the Oval, Mont Vernon General Store, Papa Joe’s Humble Pie, Pasta Loft, Red Arrow Diner, Swirl n Serve, Trombly Farm, Two Happy Butchers, Windows on West Street, and Yankee Chef, Carole’s Cake Creations, Chapanga’s Griddle and Grill, Clark’s Tavern, Earthlings Baked Goods, Foodees, Francestown Village Store, Fuzzies Ice Cream & Deli, Milford Goat Dairy, JM Princewell, Jake’s Ice Cream, Noni’s Homemade English Toffee, Maple Lane Farm, Jade Dragon and Giorgios Ristorante.
