Fund set up for fire victims
Thursday, November 5, 2009
NEW BOSTON – A fund has been set up for a couple whose home and possession were destroyed in a fire last week.
Richard and Gail Riendeau of 97 Saunders Hill Road lost their home on Oct. 28.
The Riendeaus have no means to rebuild. Richard Riendeau is a self-employed remodeling contractor who has been hit hard by the recession. The tools of his trade were lost in the fire. They have no homeowners insurance due to health-related expenses as Gail Riendeau suffers from multiple sclerosis.
Monetary donations may be mailed to the Riendeau Fire Fund, TD Bank Branch, 2 High Street, PO Box 310, New Boston, NH 03070, or made in person at any TD Bank branch.
Personal items may be donated by contacting New Boston Health Officer Shannon Silver at 487-5504, ext. 108.
Any donations, including carpentry tools and equipment, would be appreciated.
