Bowling alley open
Thursday, October 25, 2012
MILFORD – Milford Lanes, the bowling alley on Elm Street, is still open but definitely in danger of going out of business, its owner said last week.
“The community just hasn’t responded to the place,” said Al Gangi in a telephone interview with The Cabinet. “If things don’t pick up real quick” he’ll be forced to close.
He said he has a deadline in mind but did not want to reveal it.
“I want to keep it quiet to see how things work out,” said Gangi. “It’s just been a struggle.”
He said his landlord had reduced his rent in an effort to help, but it hasn’t.
