Ice fishing classes set for Milford

MILFORD – The state Fish and Game Department will sponsor three classes on ice fishing – two at Riley Bros. Lumber, the third on a local pond.
The classes are Saturday, Jan. 26, Feb. 2 and Feb. 9.
The first two will be from 1-4 p.m., the Feb. 9 class from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
The class is open to anyone, but those 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Reserve your spot by contacting “Let’s Go Fishing” instructor Dale Riley, Tuesday through Friday 8 a.m.-4 p.m. at 673-2987 or evenings at 673-4036.
The class is free, and registration is first-come, first-served.
All equipment and materials will be provided. You do not need to have a fishing license to participate.
New Hampshire Fish and Game’s “Let’s Go Fishing” program has taught thousands of children and adults to be safe, ethical and successful anglers, the department said in a press release.
