Infanti honored for his service

Bruce Bowler, Amherst Board of Selectmen chairman, presents George Infanti with a framed painting of the police station and Town Hall, signed by town employees, to honor him for his service. Infanti is retiring from public service after nine years on the board, and served previously in both Milford and Wilton. He was also given a plaque of Distinguished Service from the technology students at Milford High School.
Th selectmen held a special reception to honor Infanti at their March 11 meeting, the last of his nine year tenure. Among those gathered were Mark Reams, police chief; Brian Gleason, director of emergency medical services; Bruce Bowler, chairman of selectmen, and Bruce Berry, DPW director.
