Dennis A. Hagar

Dennis Hagar, 62, of 19 Englewood Drive, Raymond, succumbed to cancer at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on Nov. 2, 2009.

Dennis was the son of the late Robert and Dorothy (Fiske) Hagar of Milford.

He graduated from Milford Area High School in 1965.

He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1965-69.

For the past 25 years, Dennis was employed at Alcumet Inc. in Manchester.

He enjoyed reading, gardening, camping and fishing.

Dennis leaves behind his wife of 24 years, Rose (Potvin); a son, Dennis Jr. and his wife, Kessie, in Colorado; a stepson, Stephen Powers and his wife, Amy, in Georgia; eight grandchildren; a sister, Sharon Hagar, in Nashua; and a brother, Rob Hagar, in Milford.

A memorial service was held at St. Joseph Cathedral Chapel in Manchester on Nov. 6. Honoring Dennis’ request, his ashes will be scattered at sea at a later date.
