WILTON – Janice G. Beach, 75, died Dec. 11, 2009, at her daughter’s home in Lyndeborough.

Janice was born in Greenfield, Mass., on Nov. 14, 1934, the daughter of the late William and Gertrude (Brown) Gates.

Janice married George C. Beach on Jan. 8, 1956. She and George spent 45 years together, raising their family together. Janice loved to camp and spend time trucking cross-country with her husband.

Janice was a member of the Boot Scootin’ Boomers for many years. She performed with the group at many campgrounds, and all the money they raised went to charity. She was also a member of the Good Sam’s Club. Most of all, Janice loved her family, and she will be missed.

Janice was predeceased by her husband, George C. Beach, who died Oct. 8, 2001.

She is survived by two sons, Jonathan Beach and his wife, Renee, of Greenfield, and James Beach and his wife, Sylvia Mansfield, of Amherst; two daughters, Janelle Leavitt and her husband, Dusty, of Lyndeborough, and Juanita Dixon and her husband, Robert, of Milford; a brother,Bucky Gates and his wife, Sherri, of Texas; and a sister, Juanita Gates and her partner, Helen, of West Halifax, Vt.; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
