MERRIMACK – Richard E. Greenfield, 53, of Merrimack, died Sunday Jan. 10, 2010, as the result of an automobile accident in Merrimack.
Mr. Greenfield was born Sept. 1, 1956 in Nashua, and was the son of James A. and Linda E. (Kisselbach) Greenfield. He was raised and educated in Merrimack, was a graduate of Merrimack High School, and was a lifelong resident.
He was executive vice president of Greenfield Industries, a family owned metal fabrication company in Amherst. Richard was an avid dart player, and belonged to the Minute Men Central Dart League, and previously the Greater Nashua Dart League, in the ’80s and ’90s he also was a member of the Greater Lowell Dart League. He loved deep-sea fishing and spending time with his many friends and family.
Members of the family include his parents, of New Port Richey, Fla., his beloved daughters, Heather Lynn Greenfield, of Merrimack, and Hillary Lee Greenfield, of Hollis, and a sister Shirley G. Ramsden of New Port Richey, as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces, a great nephew and many cousins.
Calling hours will be Thursday, Jan. 14, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the George R. Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack.
Funeral service will be Friday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home and burial will conclude at Last Rest Cemetery in Merrimack.
