Thelma B. Frye, 92 of Wilton, NH died March 7, 2010 at the Pheasantwood Nursing Home in Peterborough, NH. She was born on May 31, 1917 in Gilsum, NH. She was the daughter of Perley E. Beckwith and Addie (Nash) Beckwith. Thelma grew up in Gilsum and later moved to Wilton when she married her husband Walter S. Frye.
Thelma was a member of the Gilsum Congregational Church, Gilsum Grange, Rebeckah lodge, Wilton Grange and the Hillsborough County Farm Bureau.
Thelma was a homemaker, loving mother and a great cook.
Thelma is survived by 2 sons; Gary W. Frye and his wife Gail of Wilton, NH and their son Austin. Harvey J. Frye and his wife Marcia of Austin, TX and their daughters Genevieve and Caroline. Thelma was predeceased by her husband Walter in 1997 and her granddaughter, Abby in 2003.
Friends are invited to a memorial service on Saturday, March 13, 2010, at 1:30 pm for a Celebration of Thelma’s life in the Chapel of the Nelson-Michaud Funeral Home, 32 Maple Street, Wilton, NH. Interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery in Wilton, NH.
