Wednesday, March 19, 2014
NASHUA – A new women’s social club is forming to provide free financial literacy education to the women of southern New Hampshire.
The Southern NH Money Club, a nonprofit women’s financial literacy group, will meet one evening per month on the last Tuesday of the month from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Charles Schwab office on 2 Cellu Drive, Nashua (off Amherst Street). The next meeting is on Tuesday, March 25.
The Money Club is a free program sponsored by the Women’s Institute for Financial Education, the oldest nonprofit in the country focused on improving the financial literacy of women. The club combines a brief lesson, discussion group, and networking opportunity for women of all ages.
Each Club meeting’s goal is to teach women something they didn’t previously know that is practical and can be put to use to save, grow, or protect the money in their lives.
