Peterborough Library hosts art exhibit

Friday, September 7, 2012

The Peterborough Town Library is pleased to present the watercolors of Linda Harris in the Art Corner. After graduating from the Art Institute of Boston, the artist pursued her career as a graphic artist by opening Birchwood Design Studio in 1980. Her paintings are sought after and viewed in shows throughout the Monadnock Region, specializing in birch trees, personalizing her watercolors by “carving” initials, along with special dates in to the trunks of the trees, making her paintings unique, distinctive, and one-of-a-kind. Linda resides with her family in the Monadnock Region of New Hampshire.

Also featured in our showcase is the pretty-dreamer Workshop handcrafted by Pamela Hanna. Both exhibits are on view during library hours throughout September – Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday 10 a.m.-8 p.m; Saturday 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; and Sunday noon-2 p.m. For more information, contact the library at 924-8040.
