To the Editor:

To Milford Primary voters,

Just a note to say thank you for voting in the recent New Hampshire primary elections. Our democracy is predicated on citizens actively engaging in the political process. The fact that you took the trouble to vote demonstrates your appreciation of this.

Sometimes it can seem as though a single vote is not significant; but only when a significant proportion of our citizens exercises its right to vote can the fundamental aim of democracy be realized.

Regardless of whether you voted to support Democrat or Republican candidates in the primary, we thank you.
