Thanks for supporting Bridges

To the Editor:

As one of the co-founders in 1976 and a current Board Member of Bridges: Domestic and Sexual Violence Support, I wish to extend my sincerest appreciation to the Milford Cabinet and the Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce for continuing to highlight the important work of this agency and to continue to generate the support needed to sustain the programs and services provided through the local office located at 16 Elm St., in Milford.

It is only through the ongoing awareness and support of local community foundations, sponsors and individual donors that we are able to meet the needs of the countless victims and survivors of violence who are unfortunately growing in number each year. Through the generosity of the Greater Milford Community we are able to continue to offer safety, advocacy and healing programs and services, in addition to reaching out to children in our schools and other community groups to provide information designed to help reduce bullying and the prevention of dating violence.

We thank all of our community partners and again especially thank everyone at the Cabinet and the Chamber for their ongoing support and assistance.
