All invited to Neighbors Helping Neighbors Dinner & Comedy fundraiser on March 16
Sunday, March 10, 2013
Just a reminder that one of our best fundraisers here in Brookline is approaching very fast. The Neighbors Helping Neighbors dinner & comedy is happening on Saturday, March 16, to be held at The Brookline Event Center Brookline.
This event co-sponsored by the Brookline Fire Department is a very important event. It raises much-needed cash and canned goods for the local welfare office. In these tough economic times many of our neighbors need help paying for the ever increasing cost of heating fuel, electricity, rent etc. In addition more people are using the food pantry. Folks these are our neighbors, relatives and friends. What a great way to help them out. Tickets are only $25 for a home-cooked corn beef and cabbage dinner, (lovingly prepared by the BFD), one of the Best Boston-style Comedy shows around, and a great night of raffles. Please bring canned goods, etc., for raffle tickets. Get your tickets now before it is to late. Contact most any Brookline firefighter, Sheryl Corey or Brookline Event Center, e-mail info@brooklineeventcenter.com.
