Milford’s Kilgore comes up short in 189-pound final
Merrimack’s Tyler Baulier was the area’s sole champion at Saturday’s Meet of Champions, which had been shifted from Londonderry High School to Nashua North on an emergency basis as Londonderry’s gym was in use as a shelter.
At 215 pounds, Baulier pinned Steven Dwight of Manchester Memorial at the 3:22 mark, and led the Tomahawks to an area-best team finish in sixth place with 58 points.
Timberlane dominated the meet and nearly tripled the second-place score with 265 points. Baulier’s teammate Mike Trask also made the finals, but lost by pin-fall at 125 pounds.
