Sabers take 6th in D-III

The Souhegan High School wrestling team had a great showing Saturday in the Division III wrestling meet at Windham High School, with the Sabers’ James Ewing capturing a state championship at 195 pounds.
In addition to Ewing’s title, won with a victory in the finals over White Mountain Regional’s Carson Cape, Cameron Crook finished second at 220 for Souhegan. Also for the Sabers, Calib Jackson and Mitchell Illacqua finished fourth at 285 and 120, respectively.
