Gas prices
Thursday, December 8, 2011
A few weeks ago, we did a piece about a reader wondering why gas prices were so different around the state.
This week, we heard from another reader who uses a Web site to track them: www.newhampshiregasprices.com.
Just a glance indicates that, wow, there are some significant differences, depending upon where you fill up, so it’s wise to keep your eyes open when you’re in a different area.
That said, we still believe in supporting local businesses. Saving, say, six cents per gallon isn’t enough to keep us from buying from a station in Milford, for instance. It just doesn’t amount to that much.
But if we happen to be in Merrimack and the difference is double digit – not out of the question – we might get gas there now and then.
Anyway, check out that Web site and thanks, readers, for asking and for answering.
