Good Samaritans at a time of need
Wednesday, December 14, 2011
To the Editor,
On Nov. 30, I was involved in a motorcycle accident at the corner of Osgood Road and King Street in Milford. During the very brief time spent waiting for EMTs and police, at least two Good Samaritans stopped to help me. One was a woman who identified herself as a nurse, and the other was a man who identified himself as a firefighter. Although I never got their names, my hope is that they may read this and know that I am incredibly grateful for their willingness to stop and help a stranger during a difficult time.
I would also like to thank Karen and Jameson from the Milford Ambulance Service, as well as Officer Eric Wales of the Milford Police Department, for their quick and efficient response. The citizens of Milford should feel secure in knowing that they have such competent professionals at the ready.
