Heartwarming feeling was felt by all.
Thursday, January 5, 2012
To the Editor:
To begin with, Bill and I would like to thank all our wonderful, dependable customers who chose to shop locally. We tried to make a real holiday atmosphere at Karen’s Kollectibles. It worked (from our hearts).
But let me tell you about Christmas Eve. Bill and I had dinner at Yummy Yummy’s on the Oval (formerly China Golden). To our surprise, Johnny and Coco were still the proprietors. The food was delicious and their upscale decor was tastefully done.
When we left after dinner, Bill and I walked hand in hand the beautiful Oval. We were overwhelmed with the picture. People were sitting on chairs covered with blankets, some standing and swaying to the beautiful voices of the holiday choir.
The large tree stood proudly covered in twinkling lights.
There were warm drinks and goodies, complimentary. A heartwarming, touching and loving feeling, I am sure, was felt by all.
It was taking us back to an old postcard picture.
Thank you to all who made this possible.
